Trace Director Gregg Vanderheiden Elected HFES Fellow
Dr. Gregg Vanderheiden, Director of the Trace Center and Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) as well as Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Engineering, was named an HFES 2012 Fellow at the Opening Plenary Session of the 56th Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, held in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 23, 2012.
The Society-wide election of 2012 HFES Fellows also included Anthony D. Andre of San Jose State University, Paul A. Green of the University of Michigan, Valerie J. Berg Rice, of the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, Penelope M. Sanderson of the University of Queensland (Australia), Kay Stanney of Design Interactive, Inc., and Matthew B. Weinger of Vanderbilt University.
HFES is comprised of 67 active chapters throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe including 4,500 members, and is a member of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).
